How do you get rid of Storm?
I don't want to have any female characters in my roster but I can't sell her like with other characters??

You won't get very far in the game if you try to avoid all female characters. The 1 star modern Storm is a staple for new players, and selling her off will seriously cripple your progress in game.

If you still want to get rid of her permanently however, just bring her up in your roster and find the little blue sell button that's shaped like a price tag.

It's OK, I sold her as soon as I was able and now I have all male characters -Juggernaut, Arrow and Ironman.

I really despise female characters in games, they serve only for obnoxious heteronormative pandering.

The game is called Marvel Puzzle Quest, and the characters within are based on Marvel comic superheroes. As it so happens, a good number of Marvel comic superheroes are females since nearly half their readers are females too. You would have to be rather misogynistic to think this is any form of pandering.

How the heck did you sell her?
I have been trying to do that since the first day I started playing. No "sell" button pops up on my screen anywhere.
Really hate the female heroes in Marvel also, they all look like hookers. I'd be curious to see if any were created by an actual female and if they were allowed to design the outfits and "augmentations" without male input lol.

There may be a sell restriction if you only have 3 heroes on your roster, as a typical match requires you to deploy a team of 3 heroes. If that is the case, the problem should resolve itself as soon as you acquire a 4th hero.

The in game artwork for female heroes is generally a reflection of how they were depicted in the comics, so they can inherit a degree of unnecessary exhibitionism, particularly for heroes that were dug out of older comics. This is less of a problem with female heroes originating from more recent comics however (e.g. Gamora, Captain Marvel, or even Squirrel Girl).

Exactly, super obnoxious!
I think Storm became available to sell when you have 3 other heroes. I was lucky to get all other male.

Just reading all the stories about storm What is wrong with storm keep her if you are starting out & build her up to storm Mohawk. I too was sceptical about female heros and kept selling them off and still do but i keep the ones i want as they have provrn to me that they can fight there way through a match with the upmost ease even though it is me controlling them.
So what your saying is you have trouvble selling as vyn said it maybe because you don't have enough heroes to begin with and when you do sell her then but my advice is keep her untill somthing better vcomes along.

I just....I mean, you are all free to enjoy the game as you see fit, but dumping the female characters because of real-world woman hate? Do any of you have sisters? Mothers? GIRLFRIENDS? Women are great, try to get over your fear.

LOL, my mother was a violent vicious ♥♥♥♥ from hell.

1* Storm was the best 1* character before they introduced team-up tiles,
2* Black Widow continues to be the best 2* character by a long shot,
and Female Thor is probably the 2nd best 4* character.
There aren't that many great female 3* characters though.

Agree with jkmyoung but i dislike Black widow simply because she is a ' Theif ' and it is annoying just when you think you are going to make a good match she comes along & steals from you . But that aside yes woman in the game make it intersting to say the least.

Umm...this is a very, very strange thread...

The only group I avoid are the bad guys, except Magneto since he's...not like Venom or something.

I do hate that they sort of Nerfed two versions of Storm when they changed the (IMO better) environmental effects to those team up cards.

I normally take out anyone who can heal first, and then deal with anyone who has super annoying status effects or steals. USUALLY I'll go for Black Widow first, unless there's something who can heal. Bullseye can be obnoxious to fight.

I *still* use a fully powered up 1-star version of Black Widow from time to time, even with a lot of 3 and 4 start characters (and the 3-star version of her is one of my "big guns").

Storm was a good 1* because the rest were horrible..she was in no way great however.

OBW is only good if you can team her with 2 high health characters...by no means is she even close to being the "best" 2* character.

There are currently 12 to 15 GREAT Female characters in game...Female Thor,Mohawk Storm,Elektra,Psylocke,Cpt Marvel,Mystique,Ms Marvel,Gamora,She Hulk,Squirrel Girl just to name some of them
