Why I gotta fight lvl 500's in pvp?

Bad enough they are the cheapest of the cheap (mephisto, omega)...
But I don't even have a lvl 500, I got a few 5 star champions but why should I have to fight people way higher than my level?

I believe matchmaking is based on performance, if you beat enough teams then you start seeing the worst of the high level teams.

Just another reason I dislike Versus.

But it's not really fair because if I'm winning def battles then that wasn't me... Now I gotta fight even harder guys and the def ones don't count for awards. They should let us lock rank at a point. We shouldn't get points but still get the win awards. I could care less about rank I just want the comics and awards.

You gain and lose score from both attacking and defending. Score counts for rewards just as much if not more than number of wins because score can give you personal rewards and also determines ranking rewards.

If you are only relying on wins to gain personal progression rewards, then losses are meaningless because losing doesn't reduce your number of wins.

If you hit a point where all the teams are going to be losses, just load a team of heroes that you aren't really using and immediately retreat from battles to lower your score and basically get "free" fight refreshes.

I do but the score goes down so slow, I sometimes only get -3 points. Its not viable cause it takes forever. I just spend purple to skip till the teams not so bad. I just wish some of these characters weren't so broken. I thought jane and beta were ok. But now with people like omega... I should of maxed out omega I guess I should dudes broken.
