joining a private alliance

can somebody please tell me how you apply to join a private alliance

Search for the alliance you want to join, click the alliance name to open up the member page.

If the alliance isn't full, click join alliance in the top right under search. Since it is a private alliance, you won't instantly join into the alliance like a public alliance, a commander will need to accept you.
