What are they for and how do you use them?

25 command points are needed to buy a Legendary token. 720 cps are required to upgrade a 5* power that you already unlocked.

yeah I'd hate to think how long it'll take to get to 720... is it always 720 / level? or does it go up? I think I'll be sticking to spending them on the legendary packs... got silver surfer for the first one I used... unfortunately it was red... would have loved blue... lol

Easier just to cash them in and hope for something you need. Keeping them is as dumb as hoarding taco's lol

Not really. I've got at least 150 of each type of taco right now. Plus another 1,000+ standard tokens. 4 legendary tokens (hoarding til I have 10, then open alll at once). And 48 command points (2 cp each from 13 consecutive first place finishes in pve subs, plus the cps in the nodes).

Pshh I have 500 of each Taco and 3000 Standard Tokens...14,000 Heroics and 300 Legendary tokens(I was awarded an extra 200 for being so awesome)..I have 900 CP for finishing the last 59 PVE and PVPs in 1st place(I won by 500,000 in each event)

I grind 3 hours per night for pve events. So for the 3 pve events that carried CPs prior to Gauntlet, it was a 7 sub Prodigal Sun, 3 sub Hunt, and a 3 sub (forgot the event name). spent 40 hours grinding over that 2 week period. It is possible to grind for so many CPs in pve, but it's almost a part time job. :(

My 83.8k points turned out to be the highest individual score among top 10 pve alliances. Someone may have scored a perfect 84k. *shrugs*

I understand ppl are skeptical. So hopefully these pics are adequate proof. For the record, my win streak ran through 16 subs, and finally lost when Ghost Rider was debutted. Managed to get third overall for that one, which isn't bad for a death bracket. ;)

Btw, I have a question for you. What's your total score in current The Hulk pve event? I took first place in the previous event and in the event with Ghostrider release, but can't even break into the top 20 in the current one (5k away from 20th place). So want to know if I just ended in a bad bracket or everyone really want these new Hulk covers. Or maybe my choice of another ending time influenced it.

It's not dumb. Hoarding taco's is useful if you don't need 2*, 3* character covers anymore and also don't need health packs and HP. That way you can open them when you need health packs when you run out of them. Or open them for HP when you find yourself lacking some. Same way with CP and legendary tokens. If you already have normal 4* roster it's better to keep them until more 5* are released and then open a lot at once.

I still need 4* so I am opening them as I get them. Just returned to the game after some rest, got 2 Legendary tokens and gathered 25 CP so I've got Nick Fury, Iceman and Red Hulk covers. I need all three of them.

I just want to know who decided it was a great idea to charge 720 cp for 1 upgrade. Might as well never have implemented that in the game.
