Chasm is terrible

So... What is wrong with the original scarlet spider actually doing cool moves and stuff?
Chasm is not only an emo gimmick, he only does one move, some trippy stare. It looks ok, kind of a Rorschach rip off from watchmen. But he literally does nothing else except boost teams. He is extremely irritating to fight and I think this may be the first pvp event I will skip out on and not even get gold points since last year. He is just to irritating to fight. Its really not fun. Chavez is a booster with no moves as well but least she has cool animations and stuff. He literally brings nothing to the table at all. All he is is a cool looking suit. Its not blasphemy to change or add stuff to your characters guys. Chasm either needs major work to make him fun to play and fight or, he's just gonna be another one of those pvp characters people would rather avoid cause its not worth it.

Chasm is bad.

And I know he was gonna be in the game they made him for the comics, all I'm saying is he's got no moves but a stare and his fight mechanics are more irritating than fun. I don't even wanna fight this guy anymore.

He's a tank with an AP drain that produces web tiles.

When using him, you try to keep him in front and constantly draining AP and getting revived.

When fighting against him, target him last to avoid his AP drain and revive.

He's definitely an addition to web tile groups that were somewhat lacking in the tank department I believe.

He's just boring I haven't lost to him, because the pvp event gives you him.
Each battle is a long boring tedious encounter and I'm not finishing this pvp and I will avoid him from now on, easily my least fav character in this game ever.

Honestly, teaming him with Miles and 3* Spiderman gives you opportunities to take on more powerful combinations involving Polaris and Medusa (Both who are OP in my opinion). The spidermen needed this kind of boost to make them viable to play again.

Unless of course you use polaris and medusa with chasm which is why I won every match including matches against those spiders.

I think silk or venom would probably make a better match. This game has gimped 3 star spiderman, sure his yellow hits hard, look how high it is tho...

It is okay to despise a character. I felt that way about Polaris when she arrived in the game, now I have her and she's around level 284 and I enjoy using her.
Pretty sure I got Chasm a few days ago but have not used him that I can recall. I know nothing about him from the comics. Anyway, everyone have a virtual beer on me.

He's scarlet spiders new emo alter ego. Scarlet spider was spiderman's clone from jackal. His old costume was cooler imo. Well new she hulk's fun at least.

Entire game has become terrible. Passive skills, no need to cast something anymore, laughable unbalance, constant vomit of new characters, tile combo cascade that can wipe your entire team from 1st gem match... etc etc... this game has become nothing else but pure trash .

Well I mean, maybe but its still the best casual marvel game there is so I still play it.
They showed some promise a while back with characters like legion and modok having multiple moves and activations.

Chasm is really bad tho, he is a huge example of not caring. He stares at you and that's it. Many others have this same issue. Dr thor? I recruited jane and she's all I use now even at base level cause dr thor. Since it mixes up the board you don't need her at a decent level just her move and some good support.

Its pretty ridiculous honestly. 4 star punisher has some awesome moves and animations. How long ago was that? Also anyone notice that the new artist has completely replaced the old one. The one whos art looked fantastic and realistic, in a stylish way. Replaced by a janky rob liefield clone. I don't like the new art, at all, it looks funky. Frickin jane thor looks like jay from jay and silent bob. Rhino looks silly as hell, the art has completely degraded.
