His black AP ability Knull and Void is a passive that adds 2 enemy attack tiles every round until there are 4 or more enemy special tiles on the board. If there are 4 or more enemy special tiles on the board, the passive makes an auto-match and creates a friendly strike tile.
It's the "make a match" portion that you probably thought meant it produced the friendly strike tile every time he made a match.
It's nowhere near as nasty as the Sinister Six alliance event version of carnage that can end up having 5+ matches a round if you let him get out of hand with black AP.
Ah okay, yeah the fact it makes the match it self is most likely it, I thought they had to make the match and then it makes a tile, not that it makes one automaticly and makes a tile.
