Content gets launched at the same time, and yes there is crossplay.

You can connect multiple devices, but there's no account linking between PC and mobile.

I've heard there are better promotions available on mobile.

Personally I prefer the PC interface so I use PC.

This is a complete fabricated lie! There is no crossplay between mobile and PC users.

Also mobile users get free promotions all the time while PC users do not. Like there is a currently a promo for free Devil Dino covers for mobile users. That is this game's main target audience. Play on PC? Too bad for you!

I play on PC because I prefer the interface but would have loved to play on mobile for the times when I'm on the go.

The interesting thing about mobile is that you can link it across all your mobile devices including phones and Ipads for example. You can even play the mobile version on PC using an emulator like Bluestacks.

Maybe he meant PC players and mobile users can be in the same alliance.

I don't know is it even possible for PC and mobile players to be in the same alliance? What about PVP events?

Also if someone chooses a name on PC does that mean it's no longer available on mobile and vice versa?

Pc and mobile players can be in the same aliance, hence crossplay is available.

Well the OP specifically asked about opponents not alliances. Are PC and mobile users competing in PVP for the same prizes? If not then it's not really cross play. Also to answer the OPs question, mobile users tend to get more promotions and free stuff. There's also the Marvel Insider thing where you get free HP. The differences probably aren't major or enough to impact enjoyment of the game but they are there. Especially with them screwing over the PC users with the UI change forcing players over to the mobile interface instead of the superior PC interface for no apparent reason.

Having two different interfaces means two sets of bugfixers and proofers. I'm sure it was done to save on money, not for literally no reason. Not that I'm a fan of the decision mind, I liked the old PC interface way more.

As to PC and mobile users competing in same PvP, I wouldn't know. There are some groups with communications that work together in PvP, asking in those groups might get some answers. I would think they could compete in the same PvP though.

As far as "differences probably aren't major" - as bryson777 mentioned, there's a 4* Devil Dinosaur cover available only through mobile. If you play for a while, the rewards do add up. There are 3*s or 4*s available at various times for mobile users but not PC.

As to the promotions I was referring to - I meant I heard mobile has better deals for the money, more often, as opposed to PC. I think the monthly pay-in if you opt for that is supposedly cheaper? I don't know. Some other things too perhaps.

But if you're thinking about reward structure, definitely go mobile over PC.

"Crossplay" is also used to reference one player being able to access the same account through multiple devices. In context, stating crossplay is available implied that a player could access the same account through PC and through mobile. That's how I read it, that's how bryson777 read it, that's probably how other readers would read it as well. Hence the clarifications / outrage over a possibly rather misleading statement.

EVERYTHING is connected between the PC version and Mobile...that includes events. The only difference between the 2 is the offers you receive that you can buy...though some are the same like VIP. There isn't any offers for free Devil Dino covers on mobile either so that is a straight lie....yes I have both pc and mobile. You wouldnt be able to join alliances of PC users if they werent connected.

I would go far as saying that the steam DLC is the best possible deal you can get when it's on sale. (usually during winter sale)

Just because you don't know about it doesn't make someone that does know about it a liar.
