Greatest Turn-Based Strategy Game Of This Century?????

I'm a big strategy gaming fan but how can i take this game seriously when this thread's title is on MOW steam front page. Must be one hell of a game if that is the claim.

Big claims like that so early on by the creators make me not even want to try it. If they are dodgy in the title i'd hate to think what goes on in the game.

Still a big claim especially when games like civ 5 have came out this century.

have you ever played civ 5 the total war series any Hearts of iron games?

Nick if you are asking me i own civ 1/4/5 all the total war games, hearts of iron1/2/3 and the Europa Universalis 1 and 2 and lot's of others, why?

Click the search icon in the Steam store, sort by Metascore, limit genre to strategy. *Those* are the great strategy games.

Personally, I think Galactic Civilizations 2 is the best turned-based strategy game out there (92 metascore). It's the AI that really makes it what it is.

None of those games metioned are turn based, but my favourite would be Darkest Hour:a hearts of iron game as i really like WW2 games. It's the optimum version of Hearts Of Iron 2. The Total war series i enjoy also but the AI is not so sharp on the campaign map but the real-time battles are good fun.

I'd say the best comparison for this game would be the old Warhammer 40k table top games. Just turned into a video game.

One of the best Turn based stategy games i can think of is Panzer Corps it's very much like an older game called Panzer General.
It has a branching campaign so depending how you do in one scenario decides what map you fight on next also you get to keep a core group of units that gain experience over time and can be upgraded as the war moves forward. On PC and ios not sure if android but you can sync the game across PC and mobile.

I suppose "MOW might(?) be the third-ish Greatest Turn-Based Strategy Game Of This Century" doesn't quite have the same ring too it though.
