Report a translation problem
As I posted in the other thread, the issue is your 222 RANGE on a melee weapon. Melee weapons have an attack animation hit box where only part of the hitbox can actually hit anything. They also have a minimum range along with a maximum range. When you increase a melee weapons range, you increase the minimum range as well. Anything inside that minimum range cannot be hit with a melee weapon. This isn't the case for projectile or magic weapons in this game.
Other weapons are funky with range as well. Like it makes a dead zone around the player.
The stat in Brotato makes the weapon hit everything from where your character is, to the tip of your weapon so there's no dead zones.
This game should consider doing that.
