Attack speed maxed = weapons fail to hit at all
Is this a bug? I played Singularist with Ebony Dagger, everything was kind of alright until at one stage my dagger shoots out but rarely connects. I died in that floor. :(

Its a rare issue i have run into as well. I has happened to me 2 or 3 times and its just on 1 floor. Like my sword swings over 5 enemies maybe hitting 1 of them.

I've seen problems especially with high speed ebony daggers and dual sickles.

Just had an issue with Halberds doing their spearing attack and missing a barrel 3x in a row. 69% atck speed boost and 222 range. Just annoying to watch while also being funny

As I posted in the other thread, the issue is your 222 RANGE on a melee weapon. Melee weapons have an attack animation hit box where only part of the hitbox can actually hit anything. They also have a minimum range along with a maximum range. When you increase a melee weapons range, you increase the minimum range as well. Anything inside that minimum range cannot be hit with a melee weapon. This isn't the case for projectile or magic weapons in this game.

On the steam deck, this is a constant issue. Every dagger type misses no matter the range stat or attack speed. Seems to only hit maybe 1\10th of the time.

Other weapons are funky with range as well. Like it makes a dead zone around the player.

The stat in Brotato makes the weapon hit everything from where your character is, to the tip of your weapon so there's no dead zones.

This game should consider doing that.

Indeed. Increasing range means increasing minimum range is BS. Some classes can stack range to the high heavens. Or let's say the Singularist can stack attack speed to high heavens too, but is limited to one or two weapons. Having such an issue with attack speed literally cripples the Singularist. In my case I had only one Ebony Dagger, so once it failed attacking I died immediately on that floor. That shouldn't have happened.
