Armory big design problem
So in theory it's all good, you spend resources and get new items.
In reality more items you unlock in armoury = less chance to get exact item you want because in run its random from all unlocked items from item pool.

I hope it will be changed somehow , for example to disable some unlocked items or sth.
If I unlocked 7 items for magic its just nerfing my all melee or ranged runs.

I think banning certain items should be in the game, or if I picked up some weapons and items the game should handle me more of those types of items or stats.

I have to agree, its fine in theory, but yes, once you start unlocking more stuff, it makes it way harder to get the items you want, unless you got a shed load of gold. So yes, there needs to be a way to limit items, so you still get a good pool of items for the class you are using.

Right now, I think I will stop unlocking new items because of this. It's bad enough already having a lot of items you might not need, but to add more, just makes it harder.

I agree completely! I would love to have the possibility to do, say, after you unlocked 10 items, you get the possibility to "ban" 5 items from the item pool at the beginning of each run, or something like that.
Like it is now you only dilute everything, making all of your builds weaker or at least harder to obtain.

Or just give you a certain number of banish actions to use in a run, or let you banish items from the shop during the run for an escalating gold cost, like rerolls.

they allow you to see every unlocked item at the armory. dont really need to put excess clutter in a run when you can just manange it outside.

Just as we can unlock the option to get +1 extra slot at certain level ups, it would be cool if we could upgrade how many items we can get at the store, but not just once after X levels, just increase by that amount from certain floor onwards.

Banish is also something that would be very nice, specially when you're looking for an item but instead you keep rolling the same ones that would ruin your current setup

I think this is the best compromise, especially since we're swimming in upgrade stones now.

I'd like to see an unlock of "Weighting", where as part of picking your character you can increase the frequency (subtly) of selected categories of equipment... or perhaps just actual weapons.

I think they should make a pool of weapons for example a pool of 20 weapons and items you can bring on a run,that you can change in the armory better items you unlock the better pool and different builds you can make.
Banish wouldn't really change much since you would still be better off not unlocking items and have a smaller pool for only 1 class and banish the worst items,the problem would be the same the more you unlock the worse your builds gets.

Well, you don't want to *remove* randomization from the runs... you could however introduce progression that can help subtly influence what pops up.

That said, God Of Weapons still works (!) without such.

I think one of the meta progression to fix this would be to allow more shop items per display roll. Right now the shop only displays 7 at a time. Couple meta progressions to add 1-3 more items I feel would be more inline with the game design.

Another good idea. Whatever the angle, make it part of the progression unlock system.
