What happened to Alfred in the end?
Did he live with his sister? Did he eventually reconcile with Jack?

yeah i kinda hate what they did to his character in book 3.

I wondered about this as well. They could have dropped a single line explaining his fate. I just assumed he went "full dark side" after joining the evil Bishop and the main characters stopped caring about him altogether due to this reason. Never really cared about him much, so I noticed him vanishing, but it wasn't a big deal for me.

He's murdered by Aliena's brother when he catches him trying to rape her

I suppose this is from the books? Because I don't think this occurs in the game. If it's from the books then thanks, because that would close this issue for me. :)

what alfred did really just echoes what tom said at the beginning of the game, builders need work and alfred just went where the work was, but they really should have fleshed it out more.

Moreover, why should Alfred know that Waleran is a bad guy? Remigius, whom he presumably knows from living and working in Kingsbridge for five years, clearly thinks he's OK, plus he's a bishop.

I'm kinda sad not hearing about him, especially since in my run he tried to be a good guy when he grew up and told jonathan his father's reasons of why he was left in the woods. He also had a daughter and I just think they could have fleshed him out more since he had such a big part in the first few chapters when all the protags still were little.

To be honest, I wondered about that myself. To be honest, I kind of felt bad for Alfred, in a way. He started off as a pretty antagonistic character to Jack, but he was a hard worker, and I don't think he was really all that bad a guy for most of the game. Tom favored him over Jack, which stoked Jack's resentment. And then Aliena goes and marries him, which couldn't help but end in trouble.

That's one of the disappointing things in the game, to be frank. If there were one decision point I wish they'd change in the game, it would be to have Aliena marry someone other than Alfred. The game gives you a lot of freedom in the beginning, but I guess because of size concerns, they really funnel you towards an ending.

When he told Jonathan about what happened during his birth and Tom, it made me consider him a better person than I thought before. Also looks like he got a new family and a kid. So, he moved one and lived life.
