Europa Universalis: Rome - Gold Edition

Europa Universalis: Rome - Gold Edition

Paradox: Rome II, please...
This is the Paradox game that needs a new version. We have new editions of Victoria, CK, EU, but not Rome. Come on, Paradox, this game is brilliant. How about giving it a little bit of love, too?

I agree! This game depicts very interesting mechanics and an awesome period but it needs a huge upgrade-polish like the other titles in the EU series.

Please, we long for Rome II !

I'm sure it will happen in the next 2 or 3 years, do it Paradox!
I suspect CK2 has another year of DLC(2 or 3) and then the team will move on to a ROME game, and then the EUIV team will do Victoria 3 after they eventually finish their DLC.

Would be pretty swell with a new Rome, I agree.

I agree completly, they should take advantage that Rome 2: Total War was a complete failure, and the romanophiles are craving for a good roman game.

100 % agree

The Paradox replied to this in their forums or Reddit AMA, I don't remember which, few years back. They said it's not their focus, but maybe do it if the fans are up to kickstarting it.

That said I do would support it and love the Paradox Rome. Beats Rome 2: Total War 10x.

+1 please give us ROME II or at least Ancient Empires II

Especially as it should cover the fall of the Roman Empire as well.

Funny enough I bought EU Rome Gold when Rome 2 was at around patch 8 and I needed to take a break from the patching process. Rome 2 is alright for what it is now and I've clocked up nearly1400 hours since launch but as i've said before and i'll say it again this game has what is missing in Rome 2 in buckets.
