Try run vulcan version:
Steam game properties -> Beta versions -> Vulcan_beta
This will not work for me either. crashes when trying to load even with Vulcan.
Thanks! It worked
i dont get an error. the game window opens and the loading arrow on the bottom right spins a few times then stops and the window closes. steam shows the game was played for a couple minutes but i never get past the load then crash. I've also tried changing my refresh rate to 60 and 50hz with no difference.
Try to look for error in Windows Event Viewer
i have one monitor.

I have tried reinstalling my drivers, and still no luck. I order a 60hz hdmi cable, I’ve read others saying in the past that it fixed the problem, so I’ll give that a shot. It runs fine on my steam deck.
browse brings me to install folder, theres no "settings" option there. i want to try to change the fullscreen setting but i dont know where to find that. Im on windows 11.
no not kidding i dont have that file. i dont see a settings.ini file in any of my game folders.
You can take my settings file:
https://limewire.com/d/76eec879-37a2-4127-bca6-08a515659957#SOND5EeEEz8AACTonAWr3tDeNY_6u_mil1EBKxacNek
You have no ini file, bacause you not started your game properly.
Maybe your problem linked with VCredist, just look this thread and try fix with DependencyWalker (don't look at the error, you can don't get this error with same problem): https://steamcommunity.com/app/234140/discussions/0/4632611078379987654/
