Can we get a Visual Upgrade?

This is one of my most favorite games of all time but it looks outdated. Can we get a remaster? PLEASE!

I don't understand the negative responses. Saying it looks outdated does not mean i think the game looks bad... because it doesn't... but it could look even better.. Adding things like 4k textures or ray tracing wont hurt. I don't see the problem..

And who exactly will do this?
Why not just make another game?
Will anyone profit from this?

The game was unfinished to begin with. Expecting the devs to come back to this is frankly beyond wishful thinking.
I have nothing against wanting something to look better that merits the change. I don't think this project does.
Along with some other people that still bother with these boards. Does it make you "wrong" or anything like that? No.
And as far as "negative" responses go, reality is 9/10ths perception. If you perceive them to be negative instead of say constructive...

Personally, the game still looks great. I just finished my 2nd play through and at no moment did I think it looked bad. I would have liked to see more bosses (with more variety of attacks) in the open world, both in caravans and in outposts. It'll never happen, but wishing is free.

If you are not a miserable soul you cannot understand it. Some people do not know where to go with their problems so they lock on into steam and trash people.


I think we will not see anything in the future like a remaster or part 2 or whatnot.

The game was not a success even though by now it has some kind of cult follwoing and rightfully so.

There will most likely be some more mad max games coming but i wouldn't be to optimistic that they reach these hights.

A bit off-topic but I need to know has anyone got this game to work with sound with Windows 11. I have video but no sound. Visual are fine to me but this game sure could use a patch for modern day builds. I enjoyed the game when I played it on Windows 10.
