No motorcycles? LOL...

so I was about to preorder then came across a reddit thread about this:

I cant believe motorcycles are not included in the game, that's an epic fail.

If you were a fan of the original movies, how can you not want motorcycles to be included in the game:

People seem to just want to hate these days, over the dumbest stuff ever. If you watched any gameplay at all you would realize motorcycles would be completely worthless. There is a lot of contact and harpoon guns. Kids expectations is what is epic fail.

Motorcycles have always been a big part of Mad Max. No motorcycle for Max I can understand. But not even for enemies?

Well, I'd agree with some when they say that motorcycles would be useless because they offer little protection and could easily get someone killed. But maybe in the future an expansion/dlc could bring in motorcycles. Either way, the core of automobile gameplay looks good enough to where I really won't need a motorcycle haha.

still wouldnt work becuase you can steal enemy vehciles and if they made it so you couldnt steal motorcycles it would just be bad so its better off if they arent in the gamr to begin with

Why?

Yes, they were a major part of the original Mad Max, but since Road Warrior (number 2) they have taken a distincitively secondry role to suped up and insanely adorned cars, which is what the game focuses on...

I highly doubt anyone is going to miss motorcycles given the footage released thus far...

Dirt bikes are more maneuverable than cars. They're also lighter, so better for jumps. Plenty of advantages in vehicular combat.

It's all part of the action. There was an amazing shot in Fury Road of a bike jumping over the truck and the rider dropping an explosive.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying motorcycles wouldn't be a cool addition, I'm only saying I doubt that anyone's really gonna miss their inclusion...

They're gonna be useless for the player given the style of vehicular combat featured, and are gonna pose little more than a speed bump's challange to an even moderately modified Magnum Opus, so adding motorcycles wouldn't have achieved much overall for gameplay...

Well maybe they will have dlc that adds motorcyles to a new faction and new area where it can be tailored to some new game mechanics. I would like to see the enemies at least use them but they just don't work with how they designed the game. If thats a deal breaker to getting the game i don't know what to tell you other than stfu and play something else cause you obviously had little or no intrest from the get go if that makes you not buy.

As much i would love to see motorcycles in, i can't see a way of making them worth in combat.
Maybe if they strapped bombs to them and let them kamikase, but that would be more annoying than anything.

Like some people said, maybe they find a way to add them in later on.
