Is "A Shot in the Dark" a missable Wasteland mission?

I just completed all available wasteland missions but didn't get the achievement. I think I remember that I got the message for a wasteland mission from hope after I rescued glory but thats exactly where you need to retrieve your car and when you do that, well, Hope will not give you the mission anymore - story spoiler because shes dead . If they really put a Wasteland mission at that particular spot, well, thats mind numbingly dumb and super frustrating.

Okay I just finished the main campaign and now I can do this mission spoiler because all dead NPC are alive again

Some reason, it hasn't for me, completed main stories and all other side quests, and doesn't show up nor can I start it.
Sorry if this is classed as necro'ing a forum.

Hm, as far as I remember you only need this mission if you are a completionist. I did a lot of roaming and looting and upgrading before I did this mission. You get and upgrade as reward and, strange enough, this upgrade is one tear below the best upgrade in this category, which the game lets you unlock BEFORE you do A Shot in the Dark.

@Rocavodka I completed the main story first aswell and didn't see any question marks anymore at all so I thought I missed that particular quest and thus its reward. But fortunately I was able to start the quest by just approaching Hope (resurrected from the dead) in Deep Friah's Temple Stronghold and pressing the interract button, even though nothing was marked or popped up when I approached her. Don't know if you tried that one out; it worked for me and I was happy about it ofc :)

Didn't work for me. I've tried everything, from reinstalling to trying it on other PC, and there's no way to do this mission D:
