"Reduce Threat In Pink Eye's Territory"

So i was playing Mad Max and I am kind of in the story (after race and you find the lady sucking the mask) and i cannot figure out how to do this. I need to get her debt down for the race. I cannot understand how to fix this. I know it says reduce threat but it cannot be that hard.

I've done a lot of that, But it just doesn't seem to help. All I want to do is play the story. It won't allow me to. Also this, How much do i reduce it by? all of it or...?

Snipers and Scarecrows won't reduce the threat that much.
You get the most out of it if you destroy the convoy and destroy the strongholds scattered throughout the territory.

Yeaht ake over some camps, they are fun and reduce alot of threat.

I was in the same situation and on a lark, even though they reduce the threat about as much as the smaller scarecrows, I removed minfields in the region where Tenderloin is and Voila! That did the trick!

I always get killed by a faction that rolls up on me with some armor and i get beat up.

well i've gotten a objective now to collect the paint from rim jobbie (very sexual name) but yeah. That's gonna be very hard honestly.

These Top Guns are basically small bosses.
If they charge at you, dodge, then attack. You can only hit him a few times, then rinse and repeat. Never just go at him, wildly punching, that won't do the trick.

If these red symbols over his head appear, dodge. And at some point (maybe stand a bit further away) he should be running at you, then dodge and punch him. Most of the times, you also get the option to use a shiv (knife) after the first punch(es). This will bring his health down quite a bit.

If Pink Eye's area is too hard that means you've rushed through the main story too fast. I suggest going back to the lower part of the map and upgrading and leveling up.

yeah i know that but my problem is getting inside because of the smaller enemies! They kill me so much!

As Bossloaf already mentioned, maybe you rushed it a bit and are undergeared. Did you upgraded your gear/skills already? If not and/or you feel it's too hard, go back and do some side-missions/clear the territories 100%, get scrap, upgrade and try it again.

I did upgrade a bit of my gear, got the first jacket, got some skills, upgraded some of the car. But i feel it is still hard....Does not getting jeet's territory/ gutgashes territory safer cause the game to be harder on the player?

No, it doesn't make the game harder, but you'll be a lot weaker if you haven't cleared most of the camps in that area. Also, have you gone done any of Gutgash's missions. I recommend destroying camps, finding scrap cars and stealing them (then drive them back to one oof the strongholds), driving into storms (when they occur) and collecting the big scrap boxes, and doing the wasteland side missions that the stronghold leaders give you.

I was actually in the same predicament as you, then I realized that the game got WAY too hard all of a sudden so I went back time and cleared most of the bottom half of the map. By the time I went to Pink Eye's area I had at least Max's 4th or 5th jacket (plus the gauntlets and other stuff that matched) and some of the strongest armor on my Magnum Opus.

In my game I have killed and destroyed everything in this territory, including every mine field and the threat level is still not 0. I have completed all the story missions as well. I even looted all the scrap locations in the only region in red to make sure I didnt miss anything. Somethings glitched out about this! Whatever I am missing, it is not on my map.
