Scavenging Underdune?

How do i gain access to the underdune scavenger location? Game shows I have 6/12

I'm wondering the same thing. I have 7/12. It's the last scavenger location I need to clear to get the achievement. Ridiculous that you can't go back to get them. Certainly not playing the whole game again just for that.

I was able to find it. you have to go into the airport and pass over the bridge. Turn right on the main road inside. You will notice a small road off to your left that allows you to go back to that site.

I must be blind, or get it wrong.
So I'm going back into the airport as if I wanted to steal the lights again ? Slalom a bit until the metal bridge that had to be lowered (barely wide enough for the car) and then turn right at the T section (huge hangar, left would be where the lights were) ?
I'm left on a very short segment that goes back to the entrance and don't seem to find that small road on the left =S

Getting very frustrated XD

Huh, I decided to go and finish story mode inbetween, surprise, I just tore a door open "up there" XD
I have a feeling that it might just do the trick...

I'm kinda stuck.. In the same Scavenging location, I have 9/12 scrap. I've looted all in the digging tunnel areas, and even went back up to the elevator area and didn't find any there.. Am I stupid or is the game broken and not making the scrap appear?

Did you check bathrooms and all three wholes where the kids were too?

The pits where the kids were should have 2-3 scrap each. Theres also scrap next to the wrecked cars.

Yes, no sign of scrap there. Only the empty boxes where I got the scrap the first time.

Thanks, guys. I was having trouble with this, as well.

What finally did the trick for me was to enter the underdome entrance at the waypoint you can fast travel to, drive a little ways into the tunnel, then set the waypoint for the marker again. This gives a nice gps path to ensure you're on the right path. At some point, you'll pass your marker - go back and take the right at the last fork in the road and you're all set (it will be obvious once you get there).
