Wait until night?
I am on a mission that requires night time (no spoilers from me :D) and I am very excited to start it. Is it possible to wait for night automatically or do I need to actually wait for night myself?

It goes to the correct time of day / night automatically when you start the mission.

No, it doesnt. At least for this mission.

Forching you to wait for a specific time without any way to advance it in an already needlessly padded out game is bulls**t...

It was a stupid thing to do in this game. Either you allow us to fast forward time or make the day night cycle fast, or you don't use missions like this which you can only start at a specific time of day.

I'm amazed. Apparently the best way to do it is to watch this video on repeat.

both of you are just plain stupid for sure, why dont you do other things in the meantime?

I have literally one other thing to do in the game besides this, and since this is for a zone that is otherwise cleared out, I wanted to complete this. Calling people plain stupid is plain stupid. This was a poor design decision, a mechanic that only exists in the game for this one particular quest, and no way to get around the mechanic. Period. Just as doing certain actions in town can advance the game a day, or end a storm in progress, they should've had showing up at a nearby location advance the day to night for the quest.. like go to the nearby racetrack and use binoculars to start mission - advances to night. I'm fairly certain you'd be hard pressed to find a dev on this product willing to defend this one-time mechanic.

since buzzards only come out at night and roadkills during daytime, i like that there is no (real) way to skip time (besides finishing two stronghold projects or visiting griffa).

yeah your right, should also add an auto complete game for me button too....seriously :steamsalty:

That doesn't even make sense. I've completed all strongholds and maxed out my character, so those options to advance night/day were gone to me, if it even does actually swap 12 hours. There was literally nothing to do but sit at the spawn point for half an hour. I get the feeling you can't read.

Also: you're

I finished up a stronghold project and they tend to shift time by what seems to be 8 to 12 hours.
