Scavenging Location Help

I am trying to clear a certian Scavenging location but I cannot find the entrance or a way to access it. The spot in question is located in the "Colossus" area of Jeet's region. It is just west of Stump Grinder's top dog camp "The Watcher". It is the camp in question is pictured here[i.imgur.com] (where the cursor is, not the waypoint to the right). Thank you for you time.

I can't check as I've cleared the marker, but I think it's part of the camp. Have you looted the base of the statue itself? It should be accessible through the back of Stump Grinder's arena.

Once you clear out the Top Dog Camp, stay up on top.
There should be a path right to the statue from the top of the camp.
The scrap is sitting around the base of the Colossus statue.

You can only get to it from the top of the camp/

I'm officially stuck. I missed the Historic Piece in this area and left it, only to return to find all bridges have been repositioned upright and their mechanisms gone. I've attempted driving up the side of the cliff face numerous times without success. Any tips?

i just went there before. after you cleared the camp you can always return and go up from the entry and after a couple of turns you can walk up some stairs leading to the platform with the huge statue ;)

afaik there is only 1 locastion thats story or sidemission based wich you cant reach again. Its that "glory" quest. as soon as its done the entry is blocked and you cant pick up any scrap what you left there. Happened to me- final 2 scrap pieces and i would have gettin that achievement. . so now- NOT :(

There's no way back up to the top of the statue, all bridges are raised.

If you are looking to find the scavenging location at the statue itself, it's easily reachable by entering the top dog camp of Stump Grinder. You get to the very top where you should dispose Stump Grinder. Below his throne there is some sort of cage. If you just go to the left hand side and follow the ridge, there will be a stairwell to follow and you will reach higher ground which you can just use to walk to the statue where the scrap is ready for looting.

A bit late, but:

Perhaps it's possible to down the bridges with a throw of a thunder-stick? (haven't tried it myself since my bridges were already down)
