Lookout at Wailing wind bug?

At the Lookout in Wailing Winds you have to refuel to use it.
My problem is that I cant refuel it. I stand in the front of the tank with a canister but cant fill it up.
Anyone else have this problem too?

some times its not the ballon out of gas its the genny find the genny with a funnel and try side stepping around it slowly to see if the refill option pops up

Thank you very much for the idea. I tried to fuel the genny but had to fuel the ballon ;=D
I did not noticed that Mad is able to climb with a gas tank in his hands.
