I'm just wondering.. I think the Interceptor (the Wild Hunt body) is closest to a 1970s Ford Falcon, and the Furnace is a Corvette... What are the others? What kind of car is the Ripper? or the Shovelface?

By "most famous movie ever made" you mean the "most famous racing/car movie ever made"? If so then I completely agree.. But there are no asian cars in the movies (asian motorcycles big time, yes, especially Mad Max 1), but none of the movies really had any asian cars in them.. I don't know why they stuck with old american classics - as I'm sure many other European cars should also be in the lore especially since the movies take place in Australia. But then on the other hand even now days today there are more American cars over there than other national cars (IIRC).

But how B-A would it be to drive a Mad Max-itized BMW or Ferrari?

Agreed, but also think there would be more Japanese cars since Japan is closer to Australia than Europe. Think in the wastes more people would use japanese cars since their better for drifting like in "Tokyo Drift" a Seminole entry into the Fast & Furious franchise. While the movies didnt have them, there is no evidence from George Miller the creator of the series that he wouldnt have them in the world. Hope now that he is old they stop him from making movies so we get a Fast & Furious crossover with Mad Max that focuses more on drifting since Max is a drifter!

Thanks for the title, will check this out since never saw it. Love the Cannonball run movies with Burt Reynolds their so awesome! If you are a racing movie fan check out Fire Ice and Dynamite closest thing to a modern or well 20 years ago cannonball run made since those movies.
