Dry Gustie Minefield Bug. Jeet 0 threat Impossible.

Only need one minefield to clear the Dry Gustie area the one nearest to Jeet's stronghold. I got in the buggy with the dog and when I get to the minefield he keeps pointing to the same mine but it doesn't appear. I can literally drive over the area hes pointing at and the mine doesn't even exploded just nothing.

I'm having the exact same problem. There is no icon for the minefield on the map but I can find it with the dog and he goes nuts but nothing appears. I can drive all over the area and no mines explode. This is frustrating.

Same here. I actually just logged in now to find answers to this problem. Would really love to complete this

Ok so I just died there while trying to return to jeet's. It seems there is another mine if you drive to the left of where you cant find your mine. just keep driving and ignore the dog barking at the unfindable mine. at some point he will change his direction towards the other mine. Just don't drive over it like it did.

I had the same problem but I thought I'd check out the other minefield (the one I cleared earlier) with Dinky Di. Sure enough, he started to go off his face and mines appeared in this area instead of the area I was meant to clear out. Check it out and see if it works

Surly, you were right. That worked. I went driving around the area and dinky di picked up another scent which I cleared. Still it's a glitch he shouldn't pick up ones you already cleared. Thanks for the help.

Nope, think mine's bugged for good. The icon doesn't even appear on the map at all.
It's gone.
Dog won't even bark at ghost mines.

Went out and cleared two other locations and came back.
Still nothing.

same problem here. I am driving over the place where the mine is ment to be (dinky di looks forward then back if I drive over it) but cannot find it. Can't reduce threat because of this.....

I had that happen to me. The dog would bark at nothing and there was no minefield icon. I went to the other minefield, which did spawn the icon when I got close. Cleared it and got 0 threat from clearing everything.

Ok so I died by a storm while Alt-Tabbed to read this. Went back to the minefield after, and this time it worked as it should. Maybe that'll work for those who still have problems.

So far, nothing has worked.
I've gone to the spot where the minefield should be with five different vehicles.
Purposely died multiple times.
Tried to trip a mine by driving around it (absolutely nothing).
Restarted the game.
Did missions.
Did minigames.
Did another minefield.

It can't be done.

Try this thread, worked for me. Other two known places for mines were cleared, or so I thought. This one was not on the other maps I have seen, but this thread by speed worked.

The mines seem to spawn in random positions in the minefields. I noticed this because once the mine didn't want to show up although the dog barked like hell and I drove over the spot over and over again. I just used fast travel and drove later again to the minefield and now the dog barked and pointed to a complete different position than before.

I went to the other minefield in the area and that solved the issue (mines started appearing there).
