Detecting Minefields

Is their any easy way to find minefields? I'm trying to get every thing that can be done to get 0 threat in every area done but I cannot find every single minefield. The ones that I have found I found by pure luck as I was driving past them to get to other areas.

Im guessing your not driving around with the dog....if your with the dog driving around he will sence the mine fields from so far away.

Why would I drive around in that weak buggy just to search for minefields? There has to be an easier way.

also buggy seems indestructible, or that is only in missions?

The buggy seems pretty durable, I've never actually been in a situation where it's durability has been down more than half way. Not sure what happens when it gets to zero.

As for the minefields, buggy and dog are the easiest way to find the missing ones, but I managed to get about 70% of them in Jeet's territory purely from driving around in the Magnum Opus - Chum gives hints when you're driving past them, all you need to do is explore the immediately surrounding area to mark it on the map.

Look for a lot of car wrecks in one place, there'll be a minefiled for sure. Also, if you found 1/2, start looking for the other one at other half of the region.

To make it easier; go around any single region area until the Dog has detected a "mine field" area; but instead of clearing it, move on within the general area (by area I mean that which shows solid border line on your map) and do this until Dog unveils all mine fields in that area. And there are only two real reasons to actually clear them; To lower overall enemy threat levels; and to gain shotgun ammo. So clear them wisely. I would not just go try to clear them in one run.

Also in case u have not realized, U can make use of multiple vehicles at most times without issues. So when using the Buggy w/ Dog and u want to go clear other things u found near by (like maybe a Sniper tower or Scarecrow) just exit the Buggy and use Flare to call upon Chum; then u can leave the Buggy w/ Dog behind while u do other things. As long as u do not go to a "Mission" area or enter an enemy vehicle; the Buggy should stay right where u leave it, without worry of threats to it. Then when u done with Chum, go back to Dog.

Im having a similar issue except i have cleared every minefield in jeets area except for one in the fuel veins area - ive searched tirelessly with the dog and in the magnum opus and i cannot find it though my map says theres only 1/2 completed. its the last thing i need before i get jeets area to 0. anyone else having this issue? i hate to keep wasting my time.

Their pretty easy to find that dog can sniff em out real far away. Just drive there and try it out.
