This phone number is already associated with another account, please enter a different phone number."

They are a scam. Thankfully Paypal has my back. No working key and I get my money back.
BS. I have spoken with their CS a few times and it was REAL person that took care of any questions I had. in fact when I game I just bought went down a couple bucks I emailed them and they replied within half an hour and credited me the difference back to paypal and were very nice about it. and I have never given them my cell phone and never even heard of that if using paypal.

They will do this withing 48 hours of a discount or sale, i think, i had a few cases where i bought games and they went on sale and they always give you the difference back.

This is entirely false, i have never experienced this service from them ever. Its always a HUMAN response during daylight hours, and it becomes automated after a certain time, im not sure seems to be around 11PM gmt, for europe, where it even tells you its automated. ANd that replying to the automated response will get a human response when one is available.

ALso, you dont need to give any phone numbers...i never have i always pay by paypal.

It is 100% accurate about the cell phone text message as it is working now. May have been something processing on their site. I am skeptical about where they got the keys and if it will get pulled soon but for $20 we shall see.

which site is $20. I saw a site offering at $17.8. The lowest of all. Check it out.

Be aware that there are similar company's with very similar names but CD Keys.com is a legitimate business that does not ask for your phone number and have always delivered for me. If people are afraid to buy the same product at a cheaper price they are perfectly entititled to purchase it elsewhere at a higher price.
LordUnborn Sep 4, 2015 @ 7:09am
If you do not have an account they require a phone number to give you your key. If you doubt this you obviously are clueless. You do NOT need an account to make a purchase. That being said if you don't create an account you only get a link to a place to enter a phone number to get a verification code to enter on their site to get your steam key. You obviously don't have a clue so just keep your ignorance to yourself. The web is FULL of cd key re-sellers who end up selling keys purchased with stolen credit cards. This leads to you having a game for a few weeks until those codes get a charge back and steam (or other game company) blocks those keys. It happens all the time.

So of course I was skeptical when I got my email saying I had to enter a phone number (which you all obviously had know idea it even happens thus you are not concerned). As a first time buyer it should have been stated UP FRONT that a valid phone number was required if I didn't open an account. As I said I spoke with the CS there (Which I go the correct email from Paypal as I was getting no responses from mail@cdkeys.com but got one from services@cdkeys.com which again isn't very comforting) and they explained that. So I guess @bentekkers you are only making yourself look stupid by showing you actually have no idea about how the company really operates nor to you take any precautions with your money. The web is full of liars and cheats and first time buyers should be made comfortable. Your lack of understanding modern consumerism is showing.

You clearly have the wrong site.

You dont need an account yes, but you also dont need to give a phone number when paying via paypal.

Also, you will always recieve a response withing 15 mins of any email to them usually a human one, however not always.

Also, if you ever recieved a non working kjey which i highly doubt you did they will replace it if you email them within 24 hours of recieivng the defective key, also a good idea to provide a simple screenshot showing the key failed to activate.

As far as i know CDKEYS, provides the ability to get a refund on a key upto 15 mins before a games release, they will refund any difference if a discount has been put in place, they will respond to any ticket in 15 mins or less, they will replace defective keys without question, They dont not require you to own an account. The kleys they get are simply bought from regions or countires where prices are far lower. They will always provide dlc, and extra content keys with pre orders.

As i said, 96 keys from them in 2 years, 1 was late by 1 day. that is it. That is the only issue i have ever had. Oh and a free beta key as part of a sale didnt work so they replaced it within 20 mins.

Yes, it was worth it. Got mine from there as well, a really good site for reasonably priced PC games. That's a rarity these days.
LordUnborn Sep 4, 2015 @ 8:28am
cdkeys(dot)com is different than what you are using?
LordUnborn Sep 4, 2015 @ 8:32am
Paypal goes to Omnyex Ecommerce DMCC
If this is not the same person then my mistake but it seems to be the correct one.

2.4. Security Checks. All customers are required to verify their phone number using our automated verification system in order to access their purchases. The numbers provided are used solely for the purpose of identity verification and are not used for any marketing purposes. We reserve the right to request additional information from the buyer such as a valid ID copy in order to verify their identity and decline or refund any order we believe to be fraudulent. The use of a VPN, Proxy, VoIP number or any other means of concealing the true location of the buyer will lead to delays, likely ID check and possible cancellation of the associated order(s).

Guess I am the dumbass who didn't read the terms and conditions. It specifically says they require a phone number. Of course it is a moot point if you didn't use the same site as cdkeys(dot)com

Same site, but the EU version has different terms + we dont need phone verification. Just saying.
Also you are the only person here complaining about them...Everyone else seems to have had an easy time using them.

Some people just have stupid inside them.
