Refuel Magnum Opus?

So I am playing with an xbox 360 controller and it is asking me to 'refuel the magnum opus' but I stand next to the car while holding a can but get no prompt. help?

hei man...step behind the car, there the game will promt you to fill it with the X button

Dont do what I did and accidently put it in the back of the truck instead. Then I dropped it. My Max is a klutz

make sure there is no other fuel can on the ground near the car. Is the car already full?

I'm stuck in the same situation, have you found out why there is no refuel option or what should we do next?

Go to the back of the car and watch for the prompt to refuel.

I went to my game controls and saw that "refuel" had no key assigned to it. Once I gave it a key on the keyboard, it worked
