Mad Max Length

How long is Mad Max? I just bought the game for my PC and was wanting to know the legnth of the full game.. I'm at 50% complete donwloading.. I got a nice PC..

It's really up to your play style. I've seen posts from people who are 23 hours in and barely 1/4th the way through. It's an open-world game. You play at your own pace. If you're an "explore/collect everything in the world type of guy" you might be able to fill out 30+ hours in side quests/collections alone.

No, not true. Quite a few story missions lock out until you do some of the side stuff. Goodness you don't even get out of the training wheels stage until two hours into it.

I'm 17 hours in, and I feel like i'm about 2/3 of the way through the game.

There's so much side content, and you constantly want to do them to upgrade your car, base, weapons, and max himself.

It's kinda odd though, because if you stick to just the story missions it'll quickly bring you to areas that you are NOT ready for, and you will actually want to go back to get better equipment. I'm sure if you speedrun through the story missions with a bit of frustration you "might" be able to complete the game in 6 hours, but you would have to skip most the game to do so.

It is a super open ended game. and i see my self playing this game for a very long time!

currently 17 hours in and i'm not even half way yet in the story, and havn't discovered about 75% of thing to see in the world.

I am at 18 hours in just finished act 2 but I did get side tracked doing a ton of side missions

I'm like 10 hours in and only 25% completed (not sure if that includes collectibles). The game feels LONG to me and I can hardly ever tell the difference between story missions and side missions. Everything kind of just feels like side missions.

My friend told me that this game is based off of Fury Road, is this true? If so , should I go watch it? I've never seen it. I only love the frist Mad Max.. And BTW does the character speak Australlian?

I'm at 11 hours and have barely 3 areas liberated
I imagine it goes a lot faster if you just do story mode, but if you like to do everything and explore everywhere, it has a lot of play time

It's based on Fury Road in terms of the looks + The main antagonist 'Scrotus' is the son of 'Immortan Joe' which was the bad guy in the fury road movie AND the bad guy in the original mad max movie. Go and watch fury road...now! Imo. better then the original ;D

It's an original story, so you don't need to see Fury Road to know what's going on. But yes, you should go watch Fury Road right now just because it's the best action flick of the year and you'll want to ride the games wasteland shiny and chrome once you have.
