Lack of Weapons ?

Only two ranged weapons in the game, and you really don't need much more than that.

the whole point of the wasteland is that this is after the apocalypse. Everything is scarce, weapons are more than likely homemade etc. You have a sniper in the back of your truck. What do you need a fully automatic rifle for ? or a semi auto pistol. Not much use for it really when you already have the shotgun and a sniper rifle to scout camps etc. I personally dont see it as a big deal.. The hand to hand combat (if you are proefficient with it) is beautiful and has quite some variation to it etc. Especially when you start nailing the perfect parrys, get reversals etc.


Also, why didnt you research before you bought it? i personally knew every little detail. Thats the main reason people get dissapointed. they dont know for sure what the game has to offer and just buy it.. then they are not happy and refund it.

Walmart didn't survive the apocalypse. Guns have rusted away and bullets are scarce.
Only a few know how to make gunpowered. Weapons are home made with a few parts so you won't have machine guns for that reason. You could only ever have rifles and shotguns of which they are in the game. Sniper rifle and shotgun. With bullets so scarce a machine gun would be a liability. Best bang for buck required. Close range shotgun - make sure if you fire you hit something and sniper rifle - one shot one kill.

If you watched the movies, he barely used anything else other than his shotgun. In Road Warrior, he didn't even have ammo at one point and used his gun as a bluff. Near the end he finally got ammo.

In Fury Road, he used other weapons because of Furiosa.

In the game the sniper rifle stays in the car which I think is a good idea. He'll most likely only use the shotgun for the rest of the game.

**Edit* His car is a weapon he always uses.

Not feeling the scarcity in game. Water, ammo, scrap, its everywhere.

Ye You are writing a very good game (GOTY potential) off because of one small detail? If you like guns with modifications, why are you not on the call of duty/battlefield forums in the first place? :)

Also if you play the way it was intended you can waste ammo like nothing. Id love a notch up in difficulty. wish you wouldnt have to use griffa tokens to talk to him :P i got so much ammo i can shoot the hinges that hold the baloons down.. w/e. even clearing minefields gives you ammo. there is so much to see, so much to do, nope - no guns so its a boring game. yeah, the logic is real.

It's a game that focus on hand to hand combat, not firearms.

So yeah, totally unreasonable to expect weapons in this game.
