[Solved] Stuck on Mad Max mission Wasteland Classic

At the point in the story where I need to build the first Archangel, The Jack. The game is telling my my next story objective is to install the final part to build The Jack, which is the first armour upgrade. However, this upgrade is locked, and it says to unlock it I need to complete the sroty mission Wasteland Classic.

Everything is a trigger in the game, if your stuck that means you miss and objective or task, I strongly suggest you dont plow through the game but ensure to do all task and objectives even though it seem like a pain

The way some of the triggers work assumes certain things though, such as not going off story and just exploring. Not a great way of thinking given how openworld games rely on you doing that and there's a lot of "stuff" put between point a and b in the storyline.

Which is why you can get a tutorial for upgrading or stronghold stuff when you've progress well past the initial stages.

I found a fix but you will have to start from the beginning. When you first start the game don't pick the shovelface for your body of the magnum opus. Pick any other body and it should work.

Same here - I reselected all of the required items and the story continued

SOLUTION
- uninstall all parts
- instal only parts required by the jack archangel
-leave Jetts stronghold
-voila main quest is pusshed now u need only to drive to 2nd stronghold and finish the quest

Do what Pie said it worked for me.

Go into Gutgash's Stronghold then go to the garage menu push square (for PS4) to go the Archangel Menu and select The Jack and push X to build.

Should work.

just click all the parts once and unpause and the story should continue

Apparently dying changed my objective from the "Use the garage to install the Jack" (or whatever it said) to "Drive to Gutgash's stronghold"

i think i found the problem.not every thing you buy is installed.you have to make sure every thing is installed by clicking on it.if one of the icons has a green dot above it click it.

There is simple, yet not apparent solution to this problem - go to the garage and install every part on your car, which has green (mission) dot above it. Not on the archangel, on your regular Magnum Opus. It is as simple as that. Took me 4 days to figure that out, so enjoy! :)
