Game crashes on start up

Hey guys, anytime I start up the game, it instantly crashes. I have read that if you change the game to run in windowed mode it will run fine only problem is can't find the .ini or text file in the directorary at all. Anyone know how to find it?

Right click the game in your library, and click Properties. Then click 'set launch options' and type in the box -windowed or -sw. It'll force the game to boot in windowed mode, but so far it hasn't worked for me.

what are your graphics cards

my specs are 2.67 dual core i5 8GB of RAM with 2GB of dedicated video RAM and windows 7 64-bit of course

Everytime i start up my game it goes to a full black screen and i usually have to restart my computer in order to get out of it, i found out that i have to start the game then i ctrl+alt+del, keep the screen up then cancel after a few seconds when it starts up. Idk if that will help your problem but cant hurt to try it
