Used them loads, mad max just came through and redeemed just fine

Legit? Not really. It's illegal and they obtain their keys through questionable means. If you are willing to risk your games being banned, then buy away.

No, Its not illegal. I've bought games from sites like that for years and had no issue whatsoever. If you want to pay full price be my guest.

It definitely is illegal. While the site may be pseudo-legitimate, how it acquires its keys are not. They steal them (this is why they are so cheap) or obtain them through other means. They do not have partnerships with the big industry publishers, which is also why Steam censors the name.

GMG, Humble Bundle, Origin, UPlay, and GOG are the only legitimate digital download sites for games besides Steam. Anywhere else, especially when they are giving these ludicrous discounts, is a risk on your part and keys from sites such as this have been banned by Steam in the past.

Edit: Perfect example of why this is obviously illegal. Keys for Batman Arkham Knight are available for purchase at $20 when WB took the game off the PC market two days after release back in June.

Safe, just used my key.

Are you really that dense? The keys aren't "cheap" at all. Valve overcharge. You do realise CD Keys prices match physical copy prices, right? Furthermore, I once bought a game that was region locked, they listed at as worldwide: when I contacted support, they said that they'd be able to refund me, ONLY after they contacted the publisher.

TLDR: They buy codes from the publisher, directly.

I bought Sniper Elite 3, and when it turned out the keys were from a dubious source they contacted me first, offering a full refund and a £5 voucher for future use as a goodwill gesture. It's nice to see other places like gamekeysnow that show you pictures of their crates of physical copies coming in and them unboxing them for the keys etc.

Wow that's quite a claim, obviously you have evidence to backup such a business critical claim?

I could go down to my local geek shop and buy a copy tonight if I wanted to (somebody bought one today @ 15:01)
I hope they arrested him on the way home.
