New costumes for Max
Seeing as when you complete the game you unlock Max's Black Leather Jacket which is his costume from Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (except his right Cowboy Boot which is from Beyond Thunderdome) I think it would be cool if we got some more costumes directly from the movies such as his outfit from the first Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdome and Fury Road, it would add a bit more to customisation and would let fans play as their favourite iteration of the Road Warrior.

Also another thing that would be nice to have would be a Mel Gibson and Tom Hardy skin which would further allow you to play as your desired version of Max.

I'm sure they will be coming in future DLC. They aren't going to leave us out in the cold with the same customization.

Most of Max's upgrades make him look like a generic G.I. Joe.
So yeah, I hope he gets more Max/wasteland appropriate attire.

You know what would be a really cool move:
Armored blue overalls with a random yellow number on the back.

The fallout armored vault-suit look got inspired by by Mad Max, and now Mad Max makes a vault suit that was inspired by the vault suit that was inspired by Mad Max.
Just for fun, of course.

What I really want is his costume from beyond Thunderdome with the Robes and possibly give him the option to have long hair

He pretty much just puts on a plate carrier and calls it a day. I was surprised by how much of a departure his final upgrades make him look from the sleeker Mad Max in films.

I know, right!

Would have expected Max to upgrade his leather jacket with heavy leather patches and plates of metal.
Which is exactly what he does to his gloves.

(I know that if his situations was real he probably went for the best option, protection and effort-wise. But still, dissapointed me a bit.
Like the no solid black car color.)

Atleast you get the Mad Max 2 costume after completion of the story so it looks more like Max from the movies

Yeah.
And once you complete the story mode, you get the Jacket from the start of a new game.

(Some people can just make a new game in a fresh save slot.
Slot 1 = 100%
Slot 2 = new
I had to overwrite my 100% complete file to unlock the Jacket and Shotgun from the start.
After making a back-up of my 100% dave, of course.)

Aha, so that's why it didn't work for me the first time.
Started a new game the day after I've gotten 100%.
