Does the game end when you get the V8?

I really like this game (haters gonna hate but I like open world AND grinding games so I'm having a blast with this) so I'm doing all of the side missions and collectibles and such. I want the V8 so I can upgrade the Magnum Opus further and make it easier to do the rest of the stuff. I've been trying to avoid too many spoilers so I didn't search the forum too much, but Max keeps telling Griffa that once he has the V8 he's leaving, So I'm afraid to get it since that seems like the end-ish of the game.

I just broke through the jaw and met Pink-Eye but I have Jeet's stronghold fully upgraded and his territory threat to 0. I want to work on Gutgash's territory but wanted a better car.

It does not end when you get the V8, but it is late in the story. After passing through the jaw though, you have access to the whole map. To me it sounds like you would want to finish the story, or at least till you have the V8, until you clear everything.

No, it's not the "end" unless you cleared all of the areas before doing the story mission lol. I burned through all of it pretty quick. But mostly because I was having so much fun I couldn't put the game down haha. I recently started a new game and I'm saving the convoys for after I get the V8. Only clearing camps and threat needed to upgrade to complete story objectives.
Not sure what the future holds but I love the films and love this game so hope there is some kind of expansions or DLC with more convoys and camps etc.

I'm a big fan of the films and I would like to see an addition of convoys having war rigs. Hopefully they'll bring new content and not just leave it as it is.

Yeah actual war rigs would be awesome. Especially if you can board them to take them down. Multiplayer convoy takedowns would be sweet too. Maybe 2 or 4 players vs a convoy of truly epic proportions lol
