Closest example I can think of would be from Fury Road and even then it's up to interpretation.
miss this from the movies? Dude , where is war rig , motorbikes , and 100 other stuff...
i gave this game a bad review , i knewd that movie games are poo poo but atleast i gave it a chance . Now i know ... never buy any movie game ever. Copy & Paste like 6 activities all over the map. Thats all what this game is . No Giant trucks , no nothing. Dont forget that steam reviews are mostly on the positive side reviewd by the dev-team it selfs. Only read bad reviews so you know what you get.
The game is good the film is Mediocre.
Mothers-Milk anyone? Moo.
So while it was marketed as a Mad Max game rather than a Fury Road game it's clear where the majority of the influence lies and that they where privvy to a lot of information before the film was released.
Just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead bodies everywhere is so strage and fits in nowhere! I don't know why it annoys me so much but it does. If they where cannibals then they wouldn't be putting the bodies all over the scarecrows, if they where just trying to intimidate people why does it appear they are also eating the people. Are people so prolific that they can just let the foodsource go to waste, it makes no sense from any angle!
The game also references the lack of motorcycles at one point (there's a relic with a photo of one and Max comments, or it's written on the back of the photograph "what on earth is this!?"). But then at another point there's a car with a motorcycle stuck to the back of it so they must exist within the game universe or they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up continuity.
Overall I think the game was okay. It had some really good points (the convoys, the final boss convoy thing) that really captured the essence of the films. The foot combat was boring as ♥♥♥♥ but the variety in the design of the outposts was really good. Each one felt really unique and assaulting the outpost defences was quite satisfying. However the objectives in the outposts were very boring and the tiny amount of scrap you get for each of the 100s of scrap points on the map renders the activity of collecting them pointless. So conflicted!
