Honestly both are great games so either way you'll likely end up happy.
Mad Max overall gameplay features is about 2% GTA V ones.
Ex : I'm not talking about characters animations, there are fine but seriously, you climb only on some special zones (I remember it was 90's games special feature), you jog, you run, you walk, you eventually jump (a bit useless), you fight with mouse left and parry with the right and
you roll to evade the exact same boss you will encounter in all the stronghold. You use sometimes a shotgun or a shiv. That's all ... so, now go play GTA V look at what you can do with your character there and come back here to tell me what is wrong ...
But it's been a while scince I've played GTA:V.
Can someone give a short description on how R* eventually "broke the game"?
When GTA launched on pc, that was a total mess. But, Rockstar launch patches with fixes and new content every week. They're doing an amazing work. GTA Online is great and is still improving.
Of course people say there's lots of cheaters and at its beginning the lag kept me from playing it. The game is great, but the majority of the community is a bunch of douchbags.
Nowadays, the game is much more smooth, the fps is stable. I also don't see cheaters and we have the passive mode, which makes you imortal, but you can't harm people either. So you don't need to worry with people flying on jets killing spree everyone with missiles.
I've played the game from launch on the PS3.
Worked fine. (I was lucky enough to not have connection issues with GTA:O)
I would have to agree that the community sucks.
They really should make sperate designated rooms:
i.e. a "chaos" room where everything goes.
And a "semi-serious" room for players who don't shoot on sight and maybe try to have some fun together instead of against each other.
(I always played in a closed room with people I personally knew. LOTS of fun that way!)
Just a shame they focus so much on online.
I'm still waiting for alien story DLC.
I love the focus on the gta online, it's great. You should give another oportunity and see whats new there. I normally stick with missions that I can do alone, (there's a lot of them) cause I don't have any friends who owns the game. If you die on a mission, people complain, insult, scream, it's indeed a horrible community.
