When do you get the V8 ?

Just wondering, i like to do all the side stuff before story missions in these type of games, ive just done the gastown race but still not got "the big chief" do you get at the end of the main missions? if so i'll do them first so i can actually use the V8 while finishing side stuff.

I think you'll get it in the next main mission from where you are now...if I remember correctly there are then three main quest missions after you get it. Once you do get the V8, I'd recommend you do some resource grinding and do any remaining side quests or optional stuff that you want to do, as the last 3 missions are best played back-to-back.

Thats cool, i love grinding (sadly) and want to do all the side stuff before finishing the main story but want the V8 so i can upgrade it, cheers :)

you'll need about 10k in scrap for the full V8 upgrade
