Win tthe Speed run mission issue

I am on this mission now where i must win the races. I choose trhe opus wars race where you race against the time. I won all of them so far but the death run icons has not dissapeard from the map and the game dont progress. Why? Do i also need to finish the other raly and not just the opus war of evry Death Run?

My advice is whenever you find a bug/glitch to fast travel out and try again, this often resets whatever went wrong.

i waited till night . In the mean time i did lot of side missions. Now very few thigns left to do. But i failed and now it is day again. This mission is hard because lot of enemyes are attacking you and you can not fight them as this car dont have weapons. Now i must wait again until it is nigh.

In the mantime i will clear the few threats that left to reduce threat from 2 to 1 in the regions.

Nice! And not so nice.
But I think that when you approach the car, enemies start rolling in. So you could try to shottie all the gastanks before you drive the wagon to the destination.(don't know if they respawn, but I think I shottied them while driving and the last 75% of the drive was smooth sailing)

Can you shoot during driving? You can do this in your own venicle but in this car too? When you say to shoot the gas tanks you mean that we must shoot them before we get in the car?

You can always use your shotgun in every car. Just make sure you have Ammo.

(Unless the other cars are armoured. Then just race off and hope for the best.

It was to easy. When they started chaseing me i just got out of the car and then i bea therm in combat. Too easy! That all i needed to do. Then i got into the car and continue driving till Gastown

This "Speed Demon death race" mission is glitching for me. The first time it showed the waypoint waayyy across the map which seems impossible to reach in 3 minutes with that car setup (that is one issue) Then on the 2nd retry the waypoint did not show and the mission waypoint stayed on the race quest giver!

If this like another glitch similar to the one at the start of the game then there must be some special scenario the game needs to be in for the race route to show again. Anyone else had this?

edit: I figured out what's wrong, the race is a barrel race but the waypoint doesn't show the finish line, you need to follow the enemy cars or possibly the red stain on the road until the finish line appears. I finished it even though the mission waypoint stayed on the guy at the starting line.
