Not really complaining, but others say this game is so easy, but on quests like this I found it incredibly difficult. I would never have tried this tactic without a guide. Ignoring the other cars, instantly firing weapon at the GO signal, boosting all 4 times right away, it's just not a logical progression IMO. To do the race the normal "right" way would be very difficult.
Plus its time to buy a new pc because my game never froze on the Crow Dazzle race. Maybe buy a SSD to aviod the freezes
Try reading the spec I posted, it would be a start. Also the reasons stated, as opposed to making up your own.
I would love to take you seriously, but given the comments, I really dont think I can. No offence meant of course!
Youre bragging about your specs but it cant even run this game. Meaning you need a new SSD because HDD cauase regular freezes
"Controller may be a better option, but its limited for me. Due to manual dexterity problems. trying to use 2 joysticks is very difficult ( I assume thats what ti uses) and I hate controler anyway)."
Problem lies with you. Dont play games that actually require a controller.
"Simply put, I cant do it. I have read guides, which all pretty much rely on you keeping up with the car. from speed build to armour and all in betwen, for the life of me I cant do it."
Another problem that lies with you. Maybe try harder to beat the boss which is so easy because all you do is thunderpoon him and gg.
"Its an annoyance that this is a have to complete mission- without doing it, I miss whatever comes next."
You give up to early. Take a break from the game and come back later and retry.
"So- nice game, but fails at the hurdle. Next time, maybe...."
It is you that is failing not the game, you need to look at yourself first because many players didnt have the problems that you are having
Using a controller is your best way to succeed, as it allows more control with camera, steering, brake, and acceleration. As for strategy getting Stank knocked out quickly, there's a few tips.
-you can squeeze off a thunderpoon shot at the beginning of the race before the minions jump in the way. Hold your aim right down the line as the timer goes and fire.
-don't worry too much about the minions. They're clumsy and don't attack you as much as trying to block shots. You're sweet spot is between them and Stank, specifically when he tries using fire instead of mines.
-don't swerve the mines if you're in a tight spot. If you do, you'll crash, they'll still blow, and he's gone. Best just boost over them and hope they go off after you pass.
-don't bother with the yellow marked detours if you can't maneuver them. There are about three good boost spots that you can catch up to him
-time your thunderpoon shots using the slomo aim. Don't do it at corners, don't do it if a minion is anywhere in front of you. Spam shots will run you dry and you'll miss opportunities reloading.
Took my friend and I 5-6 trys figuring it out, but we got closer each time. On the bright side, it's the hardest part, but the rest is a lot easier.
The HDD is not freezing the game is because its writing on the hdd while the game is playing and hence causing small freezes idiot
hence the freezing while playing
