Dog Barking for no reason

In the game, I know the dog barks when near land mines however he's backing when im not even in a landmine location, when i find the spot where he barks really fast there is nothing there, any help? thx

Seems like he also barks at food. He doesn't get your right to it though, so you might not notice. A few tims I've followed his random outbursts at least though I've found food or gas or water nearby when I get to the spot.

but now whats happening im in a spot, if i move one foot forwards, he'll bark and face directly back if i go backwards the same distance, he barks and faces directly in front. nothing comes up

Its bugged, just restart the game or do something like actually take him to a minefield. That happen to me once. He kept barking at a spot I already looted but kept point his head. I restarted the game and he didnt bark in that location anymore.

It's pretty sad that your dog can only ride with you if you're using the buggy. Seems like a dog can clearly ride with Max in his infamous V8 Interceptor in the movies (or ANY car for that matter) quite fine.

Eh, I don’t mind it; especially since I got into the habit of always leaving strongholds in the buggy, because I can always call in Chumbucket and the Magnum Opus if I need them. 🙂
