Side Burners?

How is it supposed to use the side burners? I have it equipped in the Magnum Opus but the quick fire key (left mouse button by default) doesn't seem to work.

do you have the flames selected? also those burners are kinda ♥♥♥♥ tbh. they cost alot of fuel to use and berly does any damage. even the max level one does no damage. i'm just using max level thunderpoon to oneshot everything.

The second and third upgrades actually are useful, still burn a bit of fuel, but combined with side scraping, they make a real difference...

First level burners are good for nothing more than torching meat wagons before the Warboys they're carrying try and board (the Warboys are incinerated on the meat wagon) - or for screaming past Roadkill, sitting by the roadside, and giving them a blast for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles...

i mainly used it for easily picking off enemys at scavange points before moving in and pick the place clean

Yeah, there's that too... I also baited a few camps worth of Warboys back to the Opus and torched them as they came out...

Yes, I have the flames selected. Maybe it's a bug or something. I just finished Jeet with zero threat and have not been in Gutgash stronghold, don't know if it has anything to do with it. I can quick fire while on foot but not when i'm inside the car.

I'm using mouse/keyboard.

You are just using the left mouse button while hte flames are selected as the vehicle's weapon aren't you? They're not like the harpoon etc, they don't need to be aimed, they just fire gouts of flame either side of your car....

Problem solved. It was a bug. I cleaned up an oil pump and looted one camp and miraculously the quick fire button (inside the vehicle) works. Thx for the help.

Side burners are useful for picking off warboys on the ground that you missed ramming. A little squirt of flame puffs them up good.
