No settings menu, no audio
Not sure what's going on this was one of my first purchases on Steam when I had my first gaming computer. Didn't have a single problem playing it. I just built a new computer a few months back that is a lot more powerful. I just installed the game on it and when I open the settings menu from the main screen it's just completely empty. The game is stuck in windowed mode and when I start a new game the audio cuts out completely.

Same. Played this game quite a bit when it was first released. Upgraded my computer since then, and when I try to play the game it's stuck in a window and the settings screen is empty.

Since the game likely won't be updated anymore, I'll call this one dead and broken. Shame, it was a good game.

I didn't even get very far when I last played, thought I'd give it another go, guess not.
I just reinstalled the game and booted it up for the first time in a long time and encountered the same issue. Every time I tried to adjust the settings from the main menu, the game went into windowed mode and showed only the top three settings. It's definitely a strange issue/bug that I never ran into before.

Not sure if you already figured this out, but if you actually start or resume a game you can change the settings no problem. Or at least that's how it worked for me. So, I started a new game, and once the opening sequence was finished (no sound, unfortunately) and the game started, I was able to go into the options and change everything to what I wanted. It also kept the settings the next time I booted up, so it seems like you'd only need to do it once.

It's a crappy bug, but at least you can pretty easily get around it and still enjoy the game.

Oh okay, I didn't even get through the opening sequence. As soon as I realized there was no audio too I shut the game off and uninstalled it. Thanks

It looks like the bug also sets cinematic volume to 0, so it you start the game, get through the intro, change the settings and then start a new game again then everything should be back working as intended.
