"Use the garage to install updates for..."

"Use the garage to install updates for..." is always on my screen at the upper left.
Okay, I appreciate a little reminder every now and then, but after hours of looking at it, I'd kind of like to see it go away.
Is there any way to get rid of perpetual screen prompts?

Other than actually doing the mission it's telling you to do, not really that I've noticed up to now.

So are you saying I'm missing some sort of mission, or do you mean just in general, as in when I actually have an active mission?

Because that particular screen prompt, which is in full "Use the garage to install updates for the Jack", has been on my screen for several hours now, in spite of the fact that I've upgraded my car many times since and currently can't upgrade it at all without unlocking more upgrades or getting more scrap.

Sounds like a bug... it goes away after you "learn" how to upgrade your car.

Have you actually assembled the Jack and driven it for a second? If not, do that. If you did it is bugged. i have had very few bugs myself but they went away by just restarting the game.

It's tips for the game. I get them all the time, although I have completed 99%. I tend to just read them for fun and remember if I did read them the game may have went quicker. Kinda like instrucions or readme files? never ever actually used them.

You have to complete building the 'Jack', it wants you to build it exactly as the 'Archangel' menu wants you to, you should have everything but the armour.

When you have it exactly like it wants you to minus the armour, leave the pause/menu screen and chum tells you where to go to get the armour to finish the car.

If you already have all the parts including the armour, you have to build the Jack to progress to the next part of the main story.

Yeah, that did the trick alright.
The problem was that I actually had it upgraded beyond what it wanted, with the better V-6 and better front grill. But apparently the game wanted me to go no further than the ones marked with the little green dots... seems to me it shouldn't have allowed that, but I get it now.

So now I have a new screen prompt - to go to Gutgash's Stronghold.... okay at least it's a new screen prompt so I don't have to keep looking at the old one, LOL.
