Thinking about getting it. Should I?
Love Mad Max, but never tried the game. Is it worth a play through? Seems like a hidden gem, and it’s definitely a steal for the price. Thoughts? Just let me know. Thanks.

Yep definitely. It's a lot of fun and about 100 hours of exploration & car battles.

Nice! Is the Denuvo an issue or no? I saw some complaints about it.

Yeah it's got it on there on the steam version. Gog has the one without it. Don't know why they leave it on this one at all they should just remove it.

Gotcha. I’m so used to steam and might just get it here cause it’s cheap. Probably not a big issue right? 🤔

The Origin/EA version also has no Denuvo, and I have both the Steam and Origin version off the game. The only real difference I have noticed is a slight pause, like a fraction off a second, when crossing into a new area.

Other than that Denuvo hasn't been an issue for me, and I have 2.5k hours in this, plus whatever I have on the Origin version...

yes! you can't beat the price, and though it's older, the graphics are great, the game play is great. I don't like that it's based on the new mad max, but the game play is so much fun that I can over look that one thing lol.
This game is the goat, buy it.

Considering the game is most certainly worth more than 20$, I would most certainly say yes. The game is only 1$ right now, so I would definitely jump on it. The combat is good with lots of upgrades you can get. It's got kind of a meh story but the game play more than makes up for it.

I've spent over 100 hours playing this game and I always go back to it. Still looks stunning today and is a lot of fun driving around smashing up cars and fighting groups of enemies is satisfying as heck.

Thank you for the responses everyone! I bought it and played some last night. So much to explore. Definitely love it so far. Chumbucket is hilarious lol. 😂 kinda see why this needs a sequel though. 🧐🫡

Yeah, old Chum is fun in the beginning.. After a few hundred hours however he gets to be damn annoying, so I have to mute the voices for a while... lol

I had the same thoughts, I had heard from a friend how good this game was and I have enjoyed Shadow of War for ages by the same people WB and I got it, well I CANT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STAND THIS ♥♥♥♥!! WHY DO THEY ♥♥♥♥ US ON PC, the port job must have been done by dribbling ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating

If I can find a mod that fixes these issues then the game will be awesome, and differently worth it, but if I have to deal with this terrible auto commuter assist for everything because of the stupid ♥♥♥♥♥ not understanding that games like this where made for the mouse and keyboard first, we don't need to have the game take over to aim to move, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games suck these days because of the consoles controllers, it makes me sick, greedy sons of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they love making money by selling garbage like that (Steam ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) consoles that plug into a TV, what is a modern TV anyway? Its a monitor with lower specs, why didn't they just ask someone that plays PC games to set the default config? Now It's too late to fix the key binds because the whole menu system has garbage controls wrecking the game, why would anyone need to have (Q) (E) to navigate the keys, its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad, those Worm Bros must be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spastic

I've played an hour and a half of it and already feel a little bored of it. Lol. I hear the game stays the same throughout, so what you experience at the beginning is basically the game for dozens of hours. Personally I think "Day's Gone" does this formula better with scavenging for materials and looking for gas for your bike. No car-combat in that game though. The controls in Mad Max also feel really weighty and unresponsive. I don't recommend it.
