Chainsaw to the HEAD??
I just started this game yesterday, and . . . Scrotus gets a chainsaw buried in his brain and just carries on going? Er . . . huh? This isn't Looney Tunes. That moment just knocked me completely out of the game.

Well it isn't a realistic game lol

I haven't got to the point in the game where I can actually see Scrotus "coming back from the dead", but I knew it was going to happen the moment I saw Max giving him a haircaut with that chainsaw. I have been run over several times in the game, but Max is still alive, so that makes them even I suppose ;)
The corpus callosum can be severed in a living human brain without any seeming negative effect. It is used as a last-resort treatment of extreme epilepsy.

I presumed that Scrotus was to be considered a split-brain person at that point.

I just take the game to be a very unrealistic representation of life. Max can survive massive amount of injuries by just drinking water, so the chainsaw head is par for the course I suppose.

e11. Have you played many other PC games? Weirder stuff can happen in other games. My personal greatest annoyance comes from enemy weapons that are lethal at great range, yet when you loot them, they're poxy pistols or somesuch peashooter! I kinda get where you're coming from tho. This game looks quite 'real' as they go, so I guess you expect it to be more 'real' than others. It's somewhat ironic that most games that try for more reality, tend to have such poor graphics as to make them look less real than the large studio games. Also, probably the most realistic games are the straight military one's, Arma III comes to mind, which is great when you just want a military story. Once you stray into fantasy, it seems like the developers get a bit carried away. Funny thing is, I thought I had killed him & it was just his empire I'm left fighting. Can't say as knowing he survived spoils anything for me.
