-Spoilers- Smelly Yelly ending

Jesus Christ, I just finished the game and I was so close to climaxing until I hit the last 3 or so missions. The story isn't really amazing but, with griffa, the hallucinations Max was having while being revived by Scab's blood, the constant mentioning of the "plains of silence". I was expecting a very solid ending. Shame on me for expecting an amazing ending where we drive off with our car that we built from ground up into the plains of silence, have all sound just fade out, and run into griffa in the middle of the plains as he gives us more cryptic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about Max's past, future, motivations, etc to wonder about. I'm fine with no family for max and a dead chumbucket. I'm not asking for a fairytale ending but by the end nothing surrounding max has developed, and nothing around max has changed. I keep reading a lot about how this is a very "Mad Max-esque" type ending but, to say that would be saying that Mad Max inherently has no development whatsoever, and i seriously doubt a character who is that popular among avid movie viewers has that quality. Good movies/story telling tend to all have growth and change in common.

By the end the only thing Max has is "the interceptor" which he lost in the first 2 minutes of the game, and the titles roll. I also thought there was a choice in sparing chumbucket during the final battle, and that we could find some other way to push Scrotus's truck over the cliff (like the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unlimited thundersticks that we threw at scrotus) but NOPE, i just sat there for 3 minutes listening to the same looped voices over and over. The thing that developed the most this entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game was the car, and the 2nd was max himself (shown by him developing some feelings for both Glory and Hope). By the end of the game your car is rip, and max's new found soft spot is rip. There might as well not have been any game at all in that universe. It's 2:30am so i'm going to bed. blue balled. rip me.

Also, I should have emphasized this a bit more, No griffa? No Plains of Silence? After the game drills these two things into you throughout the ENTIRE GAME. gahh, if someone could just make a mod...
