Not to jump in, but Rage 2 is . . . A mixed bag IMO. The exploration and driving is average, however the combat. Hooo boy I loved the combat just as much as I did in Doom Eternal.

Fallout 2 fallout new vegas these games have mad max armor and an insane amount of references and the atmosphere of the game is the same

First Rage is just ok but 2 is like Max with bullets, a LOT of bullets, so yeah I like it.

The huge draw distances and apocalyptic backdrop reminds me of Fuel, which is a forgotten gem. It was available on Steam years ago.
