can you 100% achievements?

Ive seen in some post that since the game isnt online anymore you can't get all of the achievements. is that true?

true you cant by playing .....you gotta download someones save file

Not only can you not 100% anymore, but one of the biggest sources of scrap no longer works. You used to generate scrap when you were offline.

It's easy enough to collect plenty of scrap ingame if you need too. Especially after you have build the "cleanup crews"...

As too the OPs question, Ayahuasca is correct.. In order to get the "Up To The Task" achievement you would need to d/l a save from somewhere, or someone, myself included...

In theory YES, sadly.

In practice, however, there's a few workarounds, since devs didn't solve the problem themselves (real bummer!). You can:

1. Download a savefile with A Penny Saved challenge completed, or if you're lucky like I am, use an old save of yours.
   
2. Complete all of the other challenges and either use a save editor (if one exists) or a Steam achievement unlocking tool (considering how many games have broken achies or dead servers, I would be surprised if there wasn't a dozen of them somewhere) to get the achievement.
   
3. Send an e-mail to the devs to remind them there's a problem they should take care of. The more people highlights the issue, the higher chance there is they'll do something about it. It's still wishful thinking probably, knowing WB Games, but hey, it won't hurt us.

It's been years since they closed down the servers for a game that is barely played anymore. Pretty sure they've been receiving countless emails from people about this issue

I'm 110% sure no amount of e-mails would ever make them patch a game this old

I found a guide where a guy has many upvotes and awards and only requires you to ram one single vehicle to get THAT achievement. I hope my 100% achievement hunting shall not be in vain by buying this title and that that save will indeed work
