Is this like Sleeping Dogs or Batman?

Is the combat in this game more like Sleeping dogs or more like Batman? (I liked sleep dogs combat and hated batman combat)

Don't know Sleeping Dogs, but it is obviously very much like Batman-Arkham series and Shadow of Mordor.
They removed a lot of things like the timed attacks for crits, and there are no combos like X+Y special attacks. Instead all special attacks are conditioned and/or done by holding the attack button.

the combat is very close to sleeping dogs, the shotgun doesnt work like the guns in sleeping dogs though.

I think it means that you don't go shooting your gun in third person like in Sleeping Dogs. It's more of a "finisher" move.

yeah the shotgun is only a finishing move, no 3rd person shooting like in sleeping dogs.

I hate all those Batman Arkham games, but I love this one. Make what you will of that. And I really like that there are no tricky combo moves to memorize or master.

I love Mad Max and Sleeping dogs they both have worlds that really draw you in. Batman is ok I just never got into it.
