Mad Max reboots my pc.
Ok I'm goint to be very specific so this post may be a little long.
Mad Max reboots my pc when playing it, sometimes it occours at specifc points other times it simply happens at random.

No BSOD, no error message, nothing, my pc just instantly shuts down and turns back on and I have the auto restart feature of windows 10 turned off.

Now the event does generate a Kernel Power 41 (63) error in windows event veiwer which I will be posting below.

Now for things I have tried.
Reinstalling Game
Running game on SSD and HDD
Deleting and Reinstaling Graphics Driver
Deleting and Reinstaling Drivers for my mouse, my headset, and my keyboard
Testing to see if I was overheating GPU or CPU, I wasen't
Turning off ASUS bios's Turbo CPU function and restoring CPU clock speeds to 4.0Ghz (stock)
Testing to see if it was my psu voltages, it wasent all my psu voltages never fluctuated above or below norms even in game so it's not my PSU
Updating Motherboard Bios to newest version
Testing to see if it was my ram/ram spiking, It wasent
Scanning for malware with several programs including GMER, Nothing came up

Heres where it gets weirder, the problem is cause exclusivley by this one game, no other game including the Witcher 3 on Ultra has caused this. I've tested with CPUID, OCCT, and even Prime95 for several hours each and still can't replicate this issue. So what could possibly be causing this.

System Specs:
NXZT Phantom 410 Case with 4 case fans
ASUS Maximus Hero VII motherboard
Intel i7 4790k at stock 4.0ghz with Hyper 212 evo as a cooler.
Ram standard ddr3 1333mhz ram non overclocked
moniter Samsung generic pnp 1600x900 monitor @ 60hz (I know my monitor is the downfall of this rig)

Logitech G510 keyboard with lcd and gaming software installed
Razer Nagia Hex (red)
Dvd/r/w drive
Samsung 850 evo SSD 240gb (Mad Max crashed on this)
Seagate 4tb HDD with ubuntu 15.10 and Grub (Mad Max crashed on the windows partition of this)
I honestly forgot brand of 1tb hdd (windows 10 runs on this, but mad max was never on this)
Samsung 500gb laptop HDD (nothing of importaince runs on this)
ZOTAC AMP! Omega Edition GTX 980 (2 fans at stock mhz)
Corsair HX750W 80+Gold Modular PSU, Less than a year old.

Also for the record Mad Max was never ran on Ubuntu

Did I miss the power supply specs in that list?

Because it sounds like a power supply issue ... as in not enough power.

Nope Corsair HX750W 80+Gold Modular PSU
I can say with full confidance it's not my psu, I tested it with several programs none of which crashed, also that wouldn't explain why the crash could occour at specific times in specific locations. Besides the same PSU can run prime95 for hours.

I have this same issue with almost an Identical machine. Can't find a fix. PC reboots before the game finishes loading. I have tried everytthing you listed above as well and no dice.

Well I managed to fix it by getting a new PSU (takes foot out of mouth). The PSU was actually failing, I just hadn't noticed yet. Game runs fine for me now.

I have the same problem.
¿How can you know if it's the PSU?

In the Steam Community forums under Hardware and OP systems would be a good place to search for answers to this. One guy who has helped me with a motherboard issue Bad_Motha works those posts and know his stuff.

Perhaps the gog version will not reboot your PC, tell the stupid developers that they haven’t removed the garbage protection of Denuvo, and it’s already a very old version.
