What was the straw that broke the camel's back for you?

Most recently hitting a storm during a car race. About five or six times during the big chief race until I figured it out.

you guys rage quit this ??? LMAO,never did that, game is chilling me honestly .... specially when I beat a bunch of raiders or smash my car into enemy cars ! :]

I had almost finished a top tog, it had no more energy I only had to finish him, and I had half my energy left. In the middle of a storm... and the storm knocked me, the boss then slammed me, and another flying piece of crap ended me.

When I had to downgrade my car to do the race to get the chick to be your partner (Big Chief mission). The car handled like complete ♥♥♥♥. It's a fun game at times but it can also be very annoying.

Fortunately in that race all you need is to destroy every other car. And then you only have to beat the clock (which is still annoying but at least doable)

Doing the Endless Sandstorm exploit at the beginning to get a ton of scrap. Had a ton of scrap. Died. I was so pissed lol

I use a save after that exploit to load my future run throughs.
To stay alive you need to start with a good amount of water in your canteen and good health. Always drag your loot boxes to a place that blocks debris, usually a North facing cliff. If you die you are respawned in the first camp and can start over.

Agreed. That's exactly what I ended up doing.

*Spoilers* I've played this game before, but I am on a second playthough, and that end race REALLY twists my lemons the wrong way. Just when you think you might do it, more cars come zooming in and ram you, and the target gets away. I want to say BAD WORDS but I know Steam will block them!

Luckily, I had the thunderpoon fully upgraded by the end. I saw the cars coming up behind me though.

NEVER. I got all achievements, took lots of breaks specially for challenges, luckily I had already started to looking at guides very early on to minimize the grinding. There was a lot of times where I really wanted to unistalled, but then I would play it some more and get grabbed again.

THis truly is a very underrated gem of a game, even more when we think it was a license game rushed to match the movie launch and the movie itself was already pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. THe chances of this game being this good were so minimal... Between this, the Arkham series (specially the first two, sorry Knight) and the Shadow of Mordor ones, WB really was pulling out some great games not so long ago. A shame all that talent seems to have either left or being forced to crunch live service crap.

I will admit that I did not get into the game right away. I found the controls too different from GTA 5, which I had been playing a lot of at the time, and left the game to sit for awhile and then came back later. Once I had more free time and was willing to give Mad Max a second chance, I had a lot more fun with it. I figure, your second playthrough of the game would probably be your most favorite, if you make it that far. Got to give yourself time to get used to the controls, time to explore the map, and time to understand that real in-game "missions" are so few and far between that you really do, and are, supposed to embrace being alone and out of control indiscriminately laying waste to the Wasteland as you play the game.

my question is why are the freaking controles for driving so damn janky? clearly its ment for a controller but FYI not every one has one to use. the key board WSAD are way way way too janky and keep jerking the car in to walls even with a slite tap of a direction.
